Dr. Alain Claudel, DPT, ECS
Dr. Alain Claudel is an Electrophysiologist and a Doctor of Physical Therapy with extensive expertise and over 35 years of practice in France and the USA. He is highly regarded in the field for his clinical acumen in assessing complex patients and has been providing electrophysiological assessments on the Monterey Peninsula, California since 2006. His leadership, training, and motivation have enabled him to design and implement an electrophysiology program at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, CA. In this role, he is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in the emergency department, ICU, and general acute care, as well as the performance of electrodiagnostic studies. Additionally, he trains and teaches the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula’s staff including physical therapists in his area of expertise. He has authored a chapter in Umphred’s Neurological Rehabilitation, ed 6, on "Electrophysiological Testing and Electrical Stimulation in Neurological Rehabilitation." Dr. Alain Claudel has volunteered extensively in Haiti, teaching students at Hôpital Albert Schweitzer, Deschapelles with Health Volunteers Overseas from 2011 to 2016. He is a Board member of the Monterey County Search and Rescue Team, as well as a member and delegate for the San Jose chapter of the California PT Association and serves on the ABPTS Council for Clinical Electrophysiology.

Dr. Ryan Boggs, DPT, DSc
Dr. Ryan Boggs is an accomplished assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Daemen University in Amherst, NY. He earned his Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Clinical Electrophysiology from Rocky Mountain University, where he conducted pioneering research on retrograde axonal atrophy in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. He is widely respected in his field and is currently serving as an At-Large officer for the APTA/ACEWM Neuromusculoskeletal Ultrasound SIG and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management. He has also taught numerous continuing education courses on topics such as concussion management, diagnostic ultrasound, and clinical electrophysiology. He is a highly respected professional and has presented his scientific findings at multiple conferences. Additionally, he is widely published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy, Journal of Primary Health Care, JOSPT Cases, Ultrasound, the Journal of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management, and the International Journal of Telerehabilitation. Outside of academia and research, Dr. Ryan Boggs co-owns an outpatient electrophysiology and neuromusculoskeletal ultrasound practice in Buffalo NY. His dedication to the field and his continued involvement in advancing his expertise makes him a true asset to the healthcare community.

Dr. Beshoy Ghaly, DPT, RMSK, ECS
Dr. Beshoy Ghaly is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the City University of New York. He is a Doctor of Physical Therapy & an ABPTS Board Diplomate in Clinical Electrophysiology. He is also Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) by the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement (APCA) and holds The Point-of-Care Ultrasound Musculoskeletal Certificate (POCUS). He performed and interpreted thousands of diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and electrodiagnostic studies in both; physical therapy and medicine practice settings, including the highly specialized orthopedic surgery field. He is an APTA-Credentialed Clinical Instructor, has presented at professional conferences & published multiple journal articles related to the field. He served the Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management as an elected Nominating Committee Member/Chair. He is the current elected Nominating Committee Chair of the Neuromusculoskeletal Ultrasonography Special Interest Group. He serves as an item writer for the Clinical Electrophysiology Board Exam through the ABPTS Specialization Academy of Content Experts. He is an active member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Physical Therapy Association & an affiliate member of the prestigious American Society for Surgery of the Hand. On a personal note, he is inspired by the incredible success & life stories of Elon Musk, Martin Luther King Jr, Helen Keller & Mahatma Gandhi.
